Consisting of our office manager, dental hygienists, and dental assistant, our small but mighty dental team here in New York goes above and beyond to create a pleasant, enjoyable, and one-of-a-kind experience for each visiting patient. Stella Nabatov, Registered Dental Hygienist
Stella moved to the United States from Ukraine in 1997. She is a graduate of the New York City College of Technology Dental Hygiene Program. Stella came to work for Dr. Puglisi in 2003 and continues with Gramercy Dental Studio today. She prides herself on being gentle, extremely thorough, and passionate about her work. A true professional, Stella is committed to helping patients understand the importance of dental health and assisting them in both achieving and maintaining it. She is very excited to use the latest technologies available in dentistry today to achieve this goal and is proud to provide exceptional care in an office that upholds the highest ethical standards. Stella is fluent in both English and Russian.
When not working, Stella enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She is the proud mother of two sons and one puppy named Nicki.
Sharon Yuen, Dental Assistant
Sharon brings over 20 years of experience to Gramercy Dental Studio. She enjoys her work and is proud to be part of a team that provides the highest level of care to all patients. She is excited to be part of an office that offers the latest dental technologies combined with quality care and a team dedicated to the highest standards of infection control and sterility. When not at work, Sharon enjoys watching movies, riding her bicycle, and spending time with her friends and family.
Meliza Valdivia, Registered Dental Hygienist
Meliza was born and raised in Kew Gardens, Queens. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Queens College and her Dental Hygiene degree from Hostos Community College. A practicing hygienist since 2017, Meliza joined Dr. Newman's team in 2018 and has been a valued member ever since. She is known for being caring, thorough, and gentle, and takes great pride in ensuring every patient leaves their visit feeling satisfied. Her utmost goal is to educate patients on their oral health and empower them to maintain a healthy smile. Meliza stays current with the latest dental technologies and techniques through continuing education, allowing her to consistently deliver the highest standard of care. She is fluent in English and Spanish and is currently pursuing her Master's degree.
When not at work, Meliza loves traveling with her husband Anthony and their three young sons, and cherishes time spent with family and friends.
