What Happens During a CBCT Scan?
The scanning process is fast, easy, and painless for patients. A member of our team will escort you to the imaging room, where you will be positioned in a way that will allow the machine to capture accurate images. Beforehand, you might be asked to remove any jewelry that might interfere with our images.
Depending on the area we are focusing on, the scanning process may take just 10 – 40 seconds. The images are immediately available in our computer system, so we can analyze them and discuss our findings with you right away.
